Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 1 ½ cups Mashed Bananas (3 Large)
  • ¾ cups Vegetable Oil (Olive Oil will NOT work)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Flour
  • ½ cup Chopped Nuts
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Directions

1. Heat oven to 325℉ (300℉ for Convection Oven.
2. Grease loaf pan with shortening.
3. Mix sugar, bananas, oil and eggs in a large bowl with a wooden spoon.
4. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pan.
5. Bake until a wooden tooth pick inserted in center of the bread comes out clean, about 60 to 70 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, then loosen sides of loaf from pan. Let cool completely before slicing.
